Gardening Tools
Gardening tools are the tools used for agriculture and horticulture. Garden tools are of often of two types namely hand tool and power tools. Hand tools are the tools that are handy and do not need any supply. Power tools are tools that are run by electricity and require electric supply for proper functioning. Example of hand tools are garden hoe, pitchfork, garden fork, garden rake and plough. The development of metal like in copper, iron and steel lead to garden tool made of these metal. Some examples of cutting tools are pruning shears, grass shears and secateurs.
Garden tools are highly useful mechanical devices that help to perform various operations for garden growth like cultivation, digging and cutting with ease.
- Lawn mower is the first power tool. But now we have a great variety of power tool like cultivators, string trimmer, Irrigation sprinklers, hedge trimmers, lawn aerators, leaf sweepers, leaf blowers, and mini-tractors.
- Compost turning garden tool are used for process of composting. It is used for turning the compost pile or compost tins. Compost turning garden tool is easy to use and tumble compost to mix well in bin and turn the compost to be better for use. It is made up of steel that is durable to use for longer time.
- To make garden flourish control of weeds is necessary. There are different types of chemical and physical methods used to remove the weeds. The process weeding avoids the growth of weeds and to remove them from the garden soil. The use of chemical for weeding can affect the growth of plants. - Garden cultivator is regarded best by gardener to make the soil of garden loose for proper development of plants. The use of garden cultivator makes the soil of garden healthy and fit for plant growth.
